The 2008 race for the White House has created a new controversy. The Evangelicals are railing against the Social Gospel. Evidently, we are supposed to follow the "Thou shalt not" scriptures but not the "Whatsoever you do for the least" messages. Evangelicals call such doctrine socialist.
